Biography

I am 14 years old and in 8th grade at the Applied Learning Academy. I really enjoy reading and writing. I believe that time is very valuable, and we should spend it wisely, doing productive things. That is why my topic is encouraging people to spend more time doing alternative things to watching TV.

Idea

My TED Talk will inform the audience about the truth concerning television, I dispel many myths in the duration of my talk. I am encouraging the audience to do things besides sitting on the couch in front of the television. I really believe that time is valuable, and every second should be spent doing something that will help you or others.
